Bringing Ahimsa Into Your Daily Life

Bringing Ahimsa Into Your Daily Life

Ahimsa is often defined as non-violence. It is actually broader and means non-harming. It means doing no harm. Ahimsa is the first Yama. It is the foundation of the Yamas. All of the other Yamas and the other 7 Limbs of Yoga build upon the cornerstone of Ahimsa.

Ahimsa - non-harming - is the pillar of your yoga practice.

This course will take you deep into the principle of Ahimsa, the 1st Yama and the cornerstone of your yoga practice. You will learn:

  • Asanas

  • Breathing Exercises

  • Preparations for more advanced practices

  • Mudras

  • Body Locks

that will enhance your yoga practice and ground your yoga journey in the founding yogic principle of Ahimsa.

Yoga Journey Wisdom

Learn how to get more out of your personal yoga practice. Many yoga classes just focus on the asanas. Asanas are important, but they only get you about 1/3rd of the benefits that yoga was designed to bring into your life.

Your Yoga Journey takes you through your personal yoga path to help you become the best person that you can be in mind, body, and spirit.

Your yoga journey helps you to expand your yoga practice and apply the lessons you learn to your daily life.

Taking your yoga practice off of your yoga mat and beyond your yoga asanas and into your life will reap great rewards for you, your family and your friends. You will be a better, calmer, more focused version of yourself. You just have to do the work and trust your path.

Yoga Journey Wisdom is a 12 module course that takes your yoga practice off of your yoga mat and into your life. It is particularly valuable for those who are short on time but want to expand their yoga practice. Each day you get nuggets of value to deepen your yoga practice and take the lessons out into your life.

“Take the journey, even if it means alone.”
