Intention

live with intention

To bring in the New Year, January is focused on aligning your Intention & Intuition.

Sankalpa is intention.

Your intention drives your actions.

Your intention is your motivation for doing some of the things that you do.

A positive intention, or sankalpa, can have a positive impact on your thoughts, words and actions.

Many yoga practitioners set their intention for their practice at the beginning of their practice by saying it silently to themselves.

Taking that concept off of your yoga mat into your life can be invaluable.

A purposeful positive intention serves as a reminder to guide you throughout some of the cross roads that you encounter.  The choices you make at your crossroads can shape your life.

Sankalpa reminds you to live purposefully. It is a tool to help you do that.

Set a sankalpa. Start with a daily sankalpa with your yoga practice. When you are comfortable, carry the concept of sankalpa off of your yoga mat and into your life.

Inhale...pause....Exhale...pause…

Set your sankalpa for your practice today.

Use this "new beginning" as a time to settle, listen and let your intentions help guide your yoga journey and your dreams and build your future self.

Namaste…
